As the feud between Babes Wodumo’s family and Mampintsha’s family continues to escalate, a video of the Simelane’s and the Maphumulo’s embroiled in a war of words at the mortuary has emerged.
Babes Wodumo’s family and Mampintsha’s mother’s family were caught on camera clashing outside Clermont Icebolethu mortuary where they had gone to collect his body ahead of his funeral service.
The families who have always been at loggerheads are fighting over Mampintsha’s body and the funeral arrangements.
Mampintsha’s mother Zama Gumede was reportedly denied access to see her son’s body following his death and was also excluded from his funeral arrangement.

“Mpintsho passed away on Saturday, 24 December, but I was never informed. I only learnt from the media that my son had passed on.
“I was hoping to get formal communication from my in-laws but that never happened,” she said.
Mampintsha’s mother said that she will never find closure or be at peace if she doesn’t see her son’s body before burial.
“In fact, I don’t even know where they kept his body. So the purpose of my visit was to request Babes to let me see Mpintsho’s body before the funeral.
I understand she’s lost a husband, but I’ve also lost my only son.
I will never be at peace and I’ll never get closure unless l see my son’s body,” Mampintsha’s mother said.
