Makhadzi seems to have moved swiftly along from her ex and has made a song about it. Taking to her Facebook timeline, she revealed the song will be in her upcoming album.


“Dear ex, please move on and be happy. I am not crying because I still love you. I am crying because [it] is not easy to start a new chapter [in] life. I wish you all the best. We must make sure our new partners treat us well so we can never think of turning back. Are you ready for my album?", read the lyrics.”

Makhadzi recently said she was ready to get back into the dating game.

“So I must be single until when? Yhooo, it’s been [a] full eight months and no-one coming to fool me nyana. Guys I miss being in love. Aibo, this is no longer normal,” she wrote.

Makhadzi has been making strides in the music industry.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE when her EP Pain ya Jealousy reached gold status, she said she was in disbelief of her success which happened fast.

“Reaching gold status is truly humbling, I knew I’d be successful in the music industry. However, I never thought it would come so soon. I still pinch myself sometimes because it feels like a dream.”

The Limpopo-born musician became a multi platinum-selling artist in 2022.

The singer's African Queen album reached gold in less than a year. Kokovha and Zwivhuya ft Jon Delinger reached platinum. Ghanama ft Prince Benza and Mjolo ft Mlindo The Vocalist reached double platinum.

She announced on Instagram she received 13 plaques for her music.

“Thirteen plaques. I am in tears. Thanks to my fans for making sure everything I touch turns to platinum,” she posted.
