Mamelodi Sundowns moved to the summit of the DStv Premiership log with a comfortable victory over Stellenbosch FC.
Mamelodi Sundowns moved to the summit of the DStv Premiership log after a comfortable victory over Stellenbosch FC at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
Sundowns, the defending league champions, won 3-0.
Peter Shalulile (7th minute) and Kermit Erasmus (26th) gave the Brazilians a 2-0 lead at half-time.
Themba Zwane added a third in the 62nd minute to give Sundowns a two-point lead after five matches of the season.
Sundowns will next be in action against bottom side Maritzburg United on Saturday, December 5 (20:15) while Stellenbosch FC, who are in 10th-place in the standings, will travel to TS Galaxy on Sunday, December 6 (15:30) for their next outing.
