Idols SA runner-up from 2019 Sneziey Msomi has finally released her highly-anticipated debut album. This is following the release of her smash gospel hit, Ungubaba.

Sneziey's first album is a 12-track gospel project titled Izulu, which translates to "Heaven", and it was released today.

The singer described the moment of dropping her first album as wonderful and she gave credit to God for the blessings bestowed upon her. She spoke about what inspired the album.

"The inspiration behind my album Izulu is just grace and God being in my life. I would like my album to remind my supporters that no situation should change the way we praise God,” she said.

She also said that the style of singing will come as a pleasant shock to her fans:

"I'm very excited it is more of a surprise to the people. I know for a fact that people will not expect this from me," said Sneziey.

She added that the music in her album is a lot more different than the songs just has released in the past but she is sure that her listeners will enjoy the ride. She did however say that she was anxious about it.

Sneziey credited her writing journey to God as well and was happy to work with artists such as Dumi Mkokstad.

The Top 4 of Idols South Africa proved why they have gotten so far in the competition in the latest episode of the show.

ZanoThando, Mr. Music, Zama, and Brandon all gave stellar performances in their final bid for a spot in the Top 3. The acts were tasked with singing local songs, specifically by artists who had been signed to South African music label Kalawa Jazmee.
