Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi was a menace on the Twitter streets. For over two years, the former music executive and assumed manager to Hip-Hop legend Kwesta has been a notorious Twitter handle best known for his polarising tweets.
Tweets which spared no one. Whether it was his former friend and business partner, Kwesta. Other ZAlebs like Black Coffee, Cassper Nyovest, AKA, Stogie T, Silkour, or more recently when he moved on to attacking JMPD officers, Mihlali Ndamase or his own estranged wife, Berita.
As a result it comes as no surprise that his Twitter account was eventually suspended, much to the relief of many on the blue app.
Nota suspended on Twitter:
On Tuesday, 27 December 2022, Nota was officially suspended on Twitter. Many are speculating that the suspension followed after multiple complaints over the course of the year. However, no one was more than happy to take credit for it than fellow Twitter personality and poet, Ntsiki Mazwai. |

It seems that Nota took a similar offence to Mazwai and was spending the day dragging Mazwai for filth. In response, Mazwai got her followers to report Nota’s account, a fact she believes was the reason he was finally suspended on the app. A win for Mazwai that she celebrated by making the notification her profile picture.
However, it might also be that Elon Musk himself decided to suspend Nota’s account. This is as Nota was now starting to lean towards stalking Musk for his attention on the app, similar to what he did with Kanye West before on Twitter.
Tweeps worry about Berita’s safety as a result:
Interestingly, following his suspension, Nota proved why the question of the state of his mental health is pertinent. This is as he took to his Instagram account, after fighting to have his Twitter account reinstated, to suggest that he already knew that his account was going to be suspended by quoting Andrew Tate.Moreover, in light of Nota’s assertion on his estranged wife. Whether it is calling her homeless, broke, or denying the separation rumours as seen with his latest podcast interview with BYO Podcast. This is as Nota suggested that he was “punishing” Berita by not agreeing to the separation or signing papers.
Tweeps are worried that Nota might do something drastic towards his estranged wife. More so as he cannot use the blue app as the site to vent and share his many thoughts and feelings.
Therefore, it is assumed that the frustration of not being able to do so will result in Nota going a step further in order to trend as it was suggested that his Twitter antics were just for clout.
